Baishali Bomjan

Co-founder

Baishali’s experience of over 18 years’ spans across public policy, organisation and business development, strategic planning, fundraising, communications, journalism, public relations and training. She is former Director of Development, Strategy, Communications and Academy at Centre for Civil Society (CCS), India’s leading think tank and Founding Trustee of India Institute that promotes dignity, choice and enterprise through innovative research, evidence-based policy advocacy and litigation for free market policies. She is also a Founding Trustee of the India Institute and Agaati Foundation.

Bhuvana Anand

Co-founder

Bhuvana has 16+ years of experience in public policy research and has worked extensively alongside government and civil society partners on creating an enabling environment for enterprises, regulatory simplification, and reforming welfare programmes. She is the former Director, Research at the Centre for Civil Society. She led the thinking and execution of multiple high-visibility research publications including 100 Laws for Repeal, Doing Business in Delhi, Anatomy of K-12 Governance, Playbook for reforming Indian agriculture, and Regulation for New Realities.

Dr Shubho Roy

Research Director

Shubho Roy is a JSD from the University of Chicago. He has an LLB from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences and was a Clerk to a judge of the Supreme Court of India. He works in law, economics and public choice theory and is interested in explaining unexpected outcomes in society through the incentives created through the legal system. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Shubho was a researcher at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi, India. His work involved legal and policy research in financial regulation, capital control, bankruptcy, and health laws.

Pranjal Chandra

Programme Director, Labour reforms

Pranjal’s 10+ year career spans social work and public policy. He has worked with Teach For India, evaluated judiciary’s programs in India and Peru with the World Bank, and consulted governments in the GCC region with McKinsey & Co. Middle East. He advises Astytva Children’s Centre Foundation on driving intergenerational mobility in urban slums. He holds a MPP degree from University of Chicago and is passionate about topics of identity in urban India, poverty alleviation, and history of Indian subcontinent.

Sadaf Hussain

Associate Director, Development and Operations

Sadaf is a People Engagement Specialist with over a decade of experience in stakeholder management, communication, and HR strategy across corporate, CSR, and development sectors. He has led projects at Genpact, Sattva Consulting, CCS, and ISPP. A published author and award-winning podcast host, he blends storytelling with organisational design. His interests lie in behavioural science, history, and exploring how culture and identity shape work and human connecions.

Prachi Ahluwalia

Associate Director, Development and Operations

Prachi is a people and systems builder with 7+ years of experience working at the intersection of HR, finance, culture, and processes. She holds an MBA from University of Oxford and is an alumna of the Young India Fellowship. She has supported Khatabook, Harappa, and Jain & Associates across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding, finance and performance to exits, focusing on building practical systems that scale with integrity, clarity, and empathy. Outside of work, she can be found reading or making art.

Neeraj Adhithya

Senior Programme Lead, EoDB reforms

Neeraj is a policy and strategy professional whose work sits at the intersection of policy, technology, and markets. At Prosperiti, he leads efforts within the Business Environment vertical to advance Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms across states. Previously, Neeraj led Government Engagements at the ONDC to accelerate the adoption of Digital Public Infrastructure for inclusive commerce. Neeraj holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Liberal Studies (Young India Fellowship) from Ashoka University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.

Sargun Kaur

Programme Lead, Land use reforms

Sargun Kaur is the team lead for Prosperiti’s land use reform team. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, India. Her research focus is on land use regulatory standards, business regulations, estimating the cost of standards, and designing regulatory reforms for states in India. She has previously interned with leading civil society organisations, including Centre for Civil Society (CCS), and the Kailash Satyarthi Foundation.

Abhishek Singh

Programme Lead, Labour reforms

Abhishek leads the team for labour regulations at Prosperiti. His work focuses on regulations related to occupational health and industrial relations, with efforts to liberalise limits on work hours, and women’s job choices and hours. He also has experience with forest and fire safety regulations. Over the last three years, he has managed teams, engaged with government officials, and worked on legislative drafting. He graduated from Symbiosis Law School in 2021 with a consolidated honors degree in law and business administration.

Medha Sehtia

Programme Lead, Labour reforms

Medha is a socioeconomic researcher, experienced in mixed-methods research and impact evaluations. She has a BA in Business Studies from DU and double MA in Economics from JNU and University of British Columbia. Her work focuses on informal and women workers, platform and gig labour, and the effectiveness of social protection delivery. She is proficient in Stata and fondly curious about all things behavioural. At Prosperiti, she leads evidence-driven policy research and analysis to support scalable, worker-centric reforms and resilient labour ecosystems.

Arpit Beniwal

Programme Lead, EoDB reforms

Arpit holds a PG degree in Economics with a specialisation in Environment and Resource Economics.Before Prosperiti, he worked at cKinetics as the lead analyst for the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and UK ETS under cCarbon vertical. During his academic journey, Arpit interned with organisations such as the World Resources Institute, PRS Legislative Research, and the Indian School of Business. Beyond work, Arpit is an active sportsperson, having represented his alma mater in Judo, Volleyball, and Kabaddi.

Rohan Ross

Senior Analyst, Land use reforms

Rohan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (BA) LLB from Christ University, Bengaluru and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He has previously interned at Global Trade Observer and the Observer Research Foundation. His current research centres around studying the dearth of commercial floor space in the country, and the relaxation of land use norms.

Naveena Pradeep

Senior Analyst, Labour reforms

Naveena is a lawyer and policy consultant with nearly four years of experience in

research, regulatory drafting, and stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from ILS Law College, Pune, and a Master’s in Business Law from the NLSIU, Bangalore. As a Senior Consultant at Bridge Policy Think Tank, Naveena contributed to various stages of policymaking, from designing regulatory frameworks to leading advocacy efforts. She also contributed by drafting arbitral rules and designing a dispute resolution framework for IFSC.

Aklovya Panwar

Senior Analyst, Labour reforms

Aklovya Panwar is a lawyer by training. He has served as a legal researcher at the High Court of Uttarakhand, assisting the Hon’ble Justice with analytical briefs and legal queries. There, he also managed the State Consultation Meet on the Juvenile Justice System, playing an active role in implementing the Act for disabled children. As a former LAMP Fellow, Aklovya contributed to shaping education policy, digital safety, and surveillance technology regulations.

Agrima Gupta

Senior Analyst, EoDB reforms

Agrima is a lawyer by education having secured her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. Having specialised in international law, she is particularly interested in international arbitration and human rights law. She has completed the LAMP Fellowship, wherein she assisted a Member of Parliament in discharging his duties by contributing to the framing of parliamentary interventions, undertaking stakeholder consultations and coordinating projects in the constituency.

Dakshja Sharma

Senior Analyst, EoDB reforms

Dakshja is a public finance and urban governance professional with experience working at national and state-level institutions, including the XVI Finance Commission and Janaagraha. Her work has centered on strengthening municipal finance systems, improving data-driven decision-making, and contributing to urban policy reforms. She hold a PG in Public Policy and Governance from TISS and a B.A. (Honors) in Economics from Hansraj College, along with certifications in public financial management, municipal bonds, and urban planning.

Kaushiki Kaushalendra Singh

Analyst, Labour reforms

Kaushiki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Banaras Hindu University, and a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Political Consultant at Varahe Analytics Pvt. Ltd. She has also interned with Lokniti-CSDS and the Impact & Policy Research Institute. Her research interests lie at the intersection of governance, public policy, feminism, democracy, and social welfare.

Arshiya Halder

Analyst, EoDB reforms

Arshiya holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a B.Sc. in Economics from Bethune College. Her academic training in behavioural economics, game theory, and quantitative methods. She has worked with the National Buildings Organisation (MoHUA), and contributed to state level data validation and analysis for drafting chapters for the latest statistical compendium. Across roles, she enjoys working at the intersection of data and policy, where evidence can inform meaningful action.

Aishwarya Pathak

Analyst, Labour reforms

Aishwarya is a data-driven public policy analyst with academic training across economics, international relations, and public administration. She holds an MPA in Data Analytics for Public Policy from Syracuse University, an MA in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a BA in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Aishwarya has experience in quantitative research, program evaluation, and global policy analysis, and is skilled in Python, Stata, and Excel.

Ananya Sood

Analyst, Land use reforms

Ananya holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has background in policy research and analysis across a diverse portfolio of socio-economic public policy issues. Previously at the Global Trade Observer, She was a part of the development of a high-impact situational report on global critical minerals supply chains, later presented at the Raisina Dialogue 2023. Her research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, gender, and institutional reform.

Jayashree Nandi

Development Associate

Jayashree holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. In her role as organisation Development Associate, she focuses on optimising systems, managing talent, ensuring compliance and maintaining the company website. Besides her interest in working at communications strategy, she has a keen interest in public finance. She also holds a Bachelors in Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.

Arin Prabhat

Analyst, EoDB reforms

Arin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Ashoka University. He has prior experience in public policy, advocacy and communications, having interned with organisations such as Accelerate Indian Philanthropy, YLAC, and Bhumi. He has a keen interest in climate change, governance and international development. Outside of work, he is a musician who plays the drums and guitar, and enjoys reviewing films on Letterboxd.

Kathan Parmar

Analyst, EoDB reforms

Kathan holds a BA degree in Pol. Science and History from the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, DU. He has worked closely with the Government of UP on education sector reforms as a part of Deloitte. He has also served as a RA at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Centre, where he supported policy research for national publications. Outside of work, he spends his time by reading, exploring local cuisines, watching cricket, hockey, baseball, and listening to music from across the world.
