Prosperiti builds state capacity to increase economic freedom in India. We help states identify opportunities for reforms, help build policy consensus, and assist government partners in implementation. Our issue-specific State of Regulation reports and bi-weekly broadcasts are intended to help all states make informed decisions. In partner states, we provide design, drafting, and execution support for accelerating reforms.

Labour and land use regulations are the most sizable hurdles in becoming a prosperous nation. Rigid labour laws keep workers informal and hinder the creation of mass employment. Irrational building laws lead to sprawl and hurt worker welfare. Increasing employment and land use flexibility will lead to more high-paying jobs and growth. We hope to identify such binding constraints to prosperity, and support governments.

Our mission is to assist states in their reform journey.

Our partners help build momentum for reforms.

Our work is made possible by the generous contributions of our donors.
